I'm not totally certain on that. Are you reading trades individually or issue by issue? The order in which these books were collected in trade is very messy.

Flashpoint and its related titles were exceptionally violent, I recall. The New 52 titles that followed get a bad rap, but I think DC moved away from that kind of violence pretty quickly; even Suicide Squad toned down after its first or so issue, following the very-violent Flashpoint: Legion of Doom miniseries. collectededitionshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14698269790653953645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10945794.post-79698974629060870412016-06-12T15:56:05.143-05:002016-06-12T15:56:05.143-05:00Using your order, I'm up to the Deadman books ...Using your order, I'm up to the Deadman books and find it strange that they are talking about Aquaman ruling Europe and it being half underwater. Does Flashpoint completely gloss over that or is there something missing from your list? Also, I'm surprised to see so much violence, blood, and psychopathy being glorified in DC books...I don't dislike it; just surprised. I didn't think Road to Flashpoint was very good, and it doesn't completely line up with the plot of Flashpoint. Common wisdom is that the Flashpoint miniseries we ended up with was not the Flashpoint miniseries originally planned, and I think Road to Flashpoint more reflects version one than version two -- so, your choice. I do have Road to Flashpoint listed just before Flashpoint on my DC Comics Trade Paperback Timeline.collectededitionshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14698269790653953645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10945794.post-82873849927283052712013-08-01T16:12:33.652-05:002013-08-01T16:12:33.652-05:00Read many of these when the story dropped, but jus...Read many of these when the story dropped, but just picked up the rest via the Comixology sale and am now reading them in the order you have listed, I'm about 6 issues in and your order is working a treat!

One question, do you fit the "Road to Flashpoint" story in the Flash as part of the story? So often the reading orders you find online are based mostly on the release dates, and really go back-and-forth between all the titles; I personally prefer trying to group issues together by the series/mini-series, but breaking off when it makes sense. i.e. basically the way you have structured the individual reading list here!

Yet another bookmark added for one of your pages! :-)D.
