I like over-achievers, boy scouts, &amp; passive powers, all of which he is/has. His romance w/ Sasha B. (as of issue #7) has been richer than most comic book affairs: angsty, sure, but realistic &amp; complex. And his father-son relaish w/ Alan Scott was smartly done too, esp. the way he took over the reins as White King. I'm curious to see how that turns out in PAWN BREAKS &amp; its follow-ups.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/10945794/725575093802117124/comments/default/3037162165173777510'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/10945794/725575093802117124/comments/default/3037162165173777510'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://collectededitions.blogspot.com/2008/02/review-checkmate-pawn-breaks-trade.html?showComment=1202759100000#c3037162165173777510' title=''/><author><name>Aaron Strange</name><uri>http://www.blogger.com/profile/08485341251196557956</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://collectededitions.blogspot.com/2008/02/review-checkmate-pawn-breaks-trade.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10945794.post-725575093802117124' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/10945794/posts/default/725575093802117124' type='text/html'/></entry></feed>
