I am behind on the series in trades and decided to dive back in with it monthly, as I did with many other Rebirth books, but it was completely impenetrable. So I decided to just go back to reading the trades and get caught up that way. It really is a wonderful comic, but it builds on itself in a way that rewards long-time readers and alienates new readers. The Rebirth books as a whole tend to continue on what came before; it's not starting from scratch like the New 52.

Thanks for the compliment -- glad you enjoy the site!collectededitionshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14698269790653953645noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10945794.post-89644186004715581492017-02-13T11:11:27.062-06:002017-02-13T11:11:27.062-06:00Vol 3: Yearbook is kind of a filler series - lots ...Vol 3: Yearbook is kind of a filler series - lots of vignettes about various characters from different art teams. The new Vol 1: Second Semester is the continuation of the series w/more mysteries about the school, etc. It's not a relaunch or anything (or Rebirth)Bob Schoonoverhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15371205595372517089noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-10945794.post-85878274404909814402017-02-13T10:33:18.203-06:002017-02-13T10:33:18.203-06:00I have a qustion, I bought the first volume and en...I have a qustion, I bought the first volume and enjoyed it but then saw that with DC Rebirth they started again at Volume 1. Is it a new start? Like introducing the characters again or do they build on what they had already established?

Also wanted to thank you for the reviews, I enjoy reading them.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
